Valpo Breaks Ground on Sorority Housing March 16, 2015

rot1Valparaiso University will celebrate the groundbreaking and blessing of the sorority housing site.

“This is such an exciting time of growth and development for the Valparaiso University sorority community,” said Carolyn Whittier, Ph.D., assistant dean of students for Greek Life. “Sorority women lead and serve in many capacities at the University, and these facilities will allow the women to increase their involvement and connection to the University and the larger community.”

Six townhouse-style units are planned, with move-in scheduled for December 2015. Each unit will house 25 beds for a total of 150 sorority women, and there will be a carriage house for a full-time residential learning coordinator.
