The Valparaiso Rotary Club invites golfers to par for a cause and join in its inaugural Rotary Popcorn Open on Thursday, September 9, at The Course at Aberdeen. A scramble shotgun start will go off at 11:30 a.m., food is served before the start and check in begins at 10 a.m. The golf outing is open to the public; $100 per golfer, $400 per foursome. Hole sponsorships are also available. The event will benefit Rotary’s local projects and international efforts to eradicate polio. 
Interested golfers must preregister. To register by mail, note player names and make the check payable to Valparaiso Rotary Club, P.O. Box 522, Valparaiso, IN 46384.
