The Valparaiso High School boys golf team advanced to the IHSAA Regional round of the state tournament with a 2nd-place finish at the Sectional round at Forest Park Golf Course.
With 16 teams competing, the Vikings’ Bobby Jacobs led all scorers with a four-over 74. Other Viking scorers included Logan Bertalan (78), Andrew Gariup (78), Kyle Meihofer (79), and Patrick Andrie (81).
