Valpo Invites Public to Participate in Survey

The City of Valparaiso is inviting the public to participate in a community survey to learn opinions about current services and future priorities, announced Mayor Jon Costas. The survey was mailed last week to a random sample of city residents. Yet, anyone can respond by visiting the city’s web site at valpo.us and clicking on the survey link.

“We’ve found that the best way to serve the community is to get to know the people in the community,” said Mayor Jon Costas. “By adding the option to participate online, we hope to encourage even more people to share their thoughts with us,” he said.

Regardless of whether you participate through the mail or online, all answers are completely confidential. Responses will be used in evaluating future projects and direction for the city. You can find the survey here. Valparaiso University will be tabulating the results and presenting the city with a summary, which the city hopes to share early in 2010.
