Valpo Parks ice rink will be offering extended holiday hours beginning at 12 noon, Thursday, December 20, 2018. Skate admission is $5 per person and skate rental is $4. All ages and abilities are welcome. Skate aids, ADA skate sled, lockers, skate sharpening and concessions available.
Free helmet rental also available courtesy of Centier Bank.
Holiday dates and skating times are as follows:
- December 20, 2018 – 12 noon – 10:00 p.m.
- December 21, 2018 – 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. with Rock n’ skate sponsored by HealthLinc Healthy Vikes Clinic 7:00-10:00 p.m.
- December 22, 2018 – 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
- December 23, 2018 – 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
- December 24, 2018 (Christmas Eve) – 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- Closed Christmas Day
- December 26 through December 30 – Daily – 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
- December 31, 2018 (New Year’s Eve) – 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- January 1 through January 5 – Daily – 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
- January 6, 2018 – 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Also at Central Park Plaza the Christmas tree will be lit for all to enjoy. The 30-ft. tall tree decorated with 19,000 lights is made possible by 1st Source Bank, The Flower Cart and The Allure Wedding Venue and Event Center.
