Valpo Schools Foundation Hosting 4-Player Charity Golf Scramble

The Valparaiso Schools Foundation (formerly the Public Education Foundation of Valparaiso) is hosting a charity golf outing at the Valparaiso Country Club on Monday, June 13th, 2011.

The four-player scramble will begin with registration at the country club at 10:00am, followed by a shotgun start at 11:00am. Appetizers, awards, and a silent auction will follow the outing at about 3:30pm at the golf course.

Chicago Cubs tickets, Chicago White Sox tickets, Blackhawks tickets, and restaurant certificate packages will be auctioned off to raise funds for the VSF. Your money will support:

  • CLASP (Creative Learning and Special Projects) will provide classroom grants for projects that promote student achievement, and encourage lifelong learning experiences. All projects are required to show measureable results. In our first two years, over 6,000 students have participated in programs funded by these grants.

The golf outing is limited to the first paid 36 foursomes (144 players). There will be food, soft drinks, a 50/50 raffle, special holes, door prizes, and of course, awards for the TOP GOLFERS!
