Noelle Eveland, Kate Bontrager and Monroe Olsen represented Valparaiso High School on the All-Duneland Athletic Conference Volleyball team announced Tuesday. The Vikings finished second overall in conference, trailing only Lake Central in the final standings.
Alyssa Kvarta, of Crown Point, was named the conference MVP and led the Bulldogs to a tie for third place in the conference, finishing with the same record as La Porte.
Representing conference champion Lake Central on the All-DAC team was Danielle Ellis, Tori Gardenhire and Brooke Renner. Kvarta was joined by Crown Point teammate Abby Kvachkoff on the squad.
Also on the All-DAC team were Shaina Perry and Danielle Plank of La Porte, Mariah Wright of Portage, and Brooke Westphal of Michigan City.
Lake Central won the conference, followed by the Vikings, Crown Point, La Porte, Chesterton, Merrillville, Portage and Michigan City.
