Valpo’s Top Chefs Confess on Courthouse Lawn

ourchefsConfession of a Chef on the Square returns to Jano Fest on July 28th.

Two popular events will return as part of the July 28th Jano Concert on the Square itinerary. The Confessions of a Chef on the Square returns for a second year and the popular Picasso on the Square children’s event is back for the fifth. “The Picasso on the Square” activity allows children to create their own work of art using colored chalk on the sidewalk in front of Court house,” said Carlos Rivero, owner of don Quijote. Rivero is one of the co-founders of the annual Jano Fest.

Confessions of a Chef will kick off the festivities at 4:00. Confessions of a Chef features the downtown's top Chefs from Pikk’s, Bistro 157, Bon Femme, Silver Spoon, Valley, Margarita’s, don Quijote and Paparazzi. These Chefs will demonstrate their secrets and culinary skills in front of the community on the Court House lawn. The event will be televised on a large screen monitor.
