On Thursday, February 13th, all VCS employees are invited to attend the VHS Boys' Basketball JV & Varsity games against DAC opponent Crown Point. All VCS employees will be admitted free of charge when they present their VCS school ID. The JV game will begin at 6:00pm followed by the VHS Cheer and Vikette Senior Night presentations. The Boys' Varsity will then take on the Crown Point Bulldog Varsity at approximately 7:30pm.
During half-time of the Varsity game, the VHS Athletic Department will be hosting a Shootout opportunity. For $1.00, anyone is welcome to take a shot to win a Valpo Vikings t-shirt.
Additionally, pre-sale tickets for Saturday night's VHS Boys' Basketball game against Munster will be available in the VHS Athletics Office through Friday. Cash payment only.
The Video Production & Media Studies class at the Porter County Career Center is broadcasting the Valpo Boys Varsity basketball tonight, versus the Crown Point Bulldogs. Kenneth Cohen, a senior at Hobart High School, is doing commentary and Ryan Gierman, a senior at Hebron High School, is doing Play by Play. Croziers Dairy Queen is underwriting tonight's broadcast.
