Verizon Supports Link ‘N Learn

The Verizon Foundation recently awarded the Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County a $10,000 grant in support of their Link & Learn after-school program which provides educational and youth development services to Boys & Girls Club members.

Participants are offered free 30-45 minute tutoring sessions three days a week in an effort to raise academic efforts of low-achieving club members in Porter County.  The program thus far has served 2,913 youth, logged 27,373 hours of tutoring and engaged 551 volunteers.
