Valparaiso High School Boys Cross County is impressive at the Pre-state meet in Terre Haute this past Saturday, September 1, 2012. The race was run on the LaVern Gibson course. Annually the state meet is held there and Valpo is sure to be heading there once again this year with such a strong showing so early in the season.
Valpo took 1st place with a low score of 54 points. The pack running strategy is paying off for the team; running together, setting the pace with a goal of coming across the finish line together.
Let’s hope this foreshadows things to come for Valpo Cross County in season 2012.
