The Valparaiso High School boys tennis team saw their record advance to 8-1 on the season (5-0 in the Duneland Athletic Conference) with a 5-0 win over the Lake Central Indians.
The Vikings’ singles team made quick work of their Indians counterparts, with Ben Kalisch winning 6-2, 6-0, Marty Pochop winning 6-0, 6-0 and Eric Cender coming out on top 6-0, 6-2.
The doubles team of Jared Folk and Peter Williams won 6-3, 5-7, 6-4 and the duo of Noah Klumpie and Domi Szabo defeated Lake Central 6-3 ,6-3.
The JV team also came away with a win, 7-6.
