The Valparaiso High School boys cross country team continued their great start to the 2011 season with a win at Merrillville High School’s home course in a three-way meet between Valpo, Merrillville, and LaPorte.
Valpo won the split meet against LaPorte 20-42 and against Merrillville, 15-50. The Vikings came away with eight of the top 10 finishes in the race, including second through ninth place. Finishing in the Top 10 for the Vikings were:

4) Landon Davison – 16:44
5) Kevin Hickey – 16:46
6) Taylor Bisacchi – 16:52
7) Patrick Dalton – 17:01
8) Corey Alfredson – 17:06
9) Murray Banks – 17:07
The Vikings’ next meet will see the team travel down to New Prairie for the New Prairie Invitational on Saturday, September 17, 2011! Good luck Vikings!
