“Crown Point’s offense will present a different challenge for Valpo’s defense this week compared to Chesterton’s last week. The Trojans feature more of a quick strike attack with their option game setting up the pass, but Crown Point isn’t really a big play team. Tyler Wells is a big play threat out of both the backfield and as a receiver, but the Bulldogs are more of a long sustained drive that kills the clock and wears out a defense kind of team. It’s going to be very important for Valpo that they force a few short possessions for Crown Point, especially early in the ballgame, to keep their defense fresh.”
