“I am happy for all of these kids,” said Head Football Coach Mark Hoffman. “They provided us this past season with some key senior leadership, and it was a pleasure working with them over the years.”

The four seniors led the Vikings to a second place finish in the DAC this season and provided the team with some leadership on and off the field. Hittinger is the third Viking to sign with Butler since the 2000’s, joining Ryan Pylipow and Brent Sever. Gallinati is also the third Viking to head down to Saint Joseph’s College, while Perkins will be the first Viking to play for Jackson State. Thompson will be the first Viking to play at Drake.

“It’s great for everyone from Tony to Matt to Michael and Nick to get these scholarships,” continued Hoffman. “It will save them, their parents, and the community a ton of money, while providing them a great education.”

Hoffman went on to point out the high academic reptuation of Butler, Jackson State, Loyola, St. Joseph’s, and Drake.

Congrats to these gentlemen from all of us at ValpoLife, and good luck in the future!
