The Valparaiso High School girls golf team participated in the Hall of Fame Classic at Twin Bridges Golf Club in Danville, Indiana over the weekend. The Vikings came away with a ninth-place finish among the 21 teams participating, including 15 of the state’s 20 best teams..
The Viking squad was led by Harley Dubsky’s score of 83, putting her just outside of the top ten individual performers at the meet. Also scoring for Valparaiso High School were Ellie Gorski’s 86, Jennifer Gough’s 89, and Madison Macke’s 97. Brooke Fullenkamp withdrew from the competition.
The Vikings’ next meet is at home against Chesterton on September 6, 2011.
