The Valparaiso High School Girls Varisty soccer team took the field in their first official game on Monday, August 16th as they faced off against Kankakee Valley at 5:00pm at Viking Field.
The match was the first of seven home matches for the girls' squad and their last before they begin their Duneland Athletic Conference matches, with Chesterton coming in to town on August 24th.
