The Valparaiso High School Volleyball squads faced off against DAC rival Crown Point on Thursday at VHS. All three squads won.
The Varsity team overcame a 2-0 deficit (17-25, 14-25) to defeat the Bulldogs in three straight games 25-21, 25-23, and 15-11. Jordan Snapp led the Vikes with 15 kills, while Tarrah Lasky added 23 assists. Kate Workman totaled 21 digs and Brigid Scannell contributed 16.
The JV team also did their part in sweeping the Bulldogs 25-14 and 25-17. Jenna Janesheski and Alyssa Jones each had 7 assists in the match, while Kelsie Schutz and Emma Ogden each had four kills.
The Freshman squad also swept Crown Point 25-12, 25-10, to advance to an 8-1 overall record (5-0 DAC). Natalie Girman had 8 assists and Mindi Reach added 7. Andi Sarkisian led the team with 6 kills.
