All three of the VHS Volleyball teams swept their respective Chesterton counterparts Tuesday as the Varsity team improved their DAC record to 4-2, while the JV and Freshman squads remained undefeated at 6-0 each.
For the Varsity team, Alli Hauser and Tarrah Lasky led the way with 13 and 12 assists, respectively, while Casey Earl added 5 kills. The girls won the best of 5 matches 25-13, 25-21, 25-21. The Varsity team is now 8-9 overall on the year.
The JV team was able to win their best of 3 match 25-13, 25-15 to improve to 16-1 overall. Theresa Kozelka had 7 kills while Kelsie Schutz added 6. Alyssa Jones contributed 12 assists to the cause, while Jenna Janesheski added 8 service aces.
The Freshman team won 25-15, 25-20 to improve 12-2 on the year. Andi Sarkisian led the way with 6 kills while Natalie Girman, Haley Plothow, and Ashley Kozik had 5 a piece. McCaul Sawina had 10 assists.
