The Valparaiso High School baseball team advanced their record on the year to 8-2 with a 14-0 win over Knox High School on Tuesday afternoon.
Senior John Olejniczak led the Vikings by throwing five no-hit, shutout innings with none strikeouts and two walks to go along with a 2-for-3 performance at the plate with a double, two runs scored and two RBI. Jeff Holmes also had a double and led Valpo with three RBI on the day.
The Vikings will play their third game in as many days as they travel to Chesterton to take on the Trojans at 4:30pm.
