Vikings Fall to Penn in Regular Season Opener (UPDATE)

It was a rainy, chilly Friday night as the Vikings struggled to find a rhythm in a 21-0 loss to rival Penn High School. Penn, ranked 13th in the state-wide Massey Ratings, controlled the game with a solid running attack, chewing up the clock for much of the second half.

Penn jumped out to a 21-0 lead early in the game, holding the lead during the second half. The Vikings, who were ranked 16th in the Massey Ratings, had a few scoring attempts in the red zone, but struggled pushing the ball over the goal line late in the game.
