The Valparaiso High School girls soccer team continued their high-scoring attack with a 10-0 victory over the Merrillville Pirates on Tuesday after winning their two previous games by scores of 11-2 and 12-0, respectively.
Grace Withrow led the way for Valpo with two goals and an assist. Jana Banschbach, Elyse Horb and Mary Gooding each scored one goal and notched one assist. Also scoring for the Vikings were Kaylee Pullins, Rebecca Riley, Lexi Ferngren, Kristina Veljovic, and Ashley Thomas. Jenelle Klumpe and Lauren Reineke also registered assists for VHS.
The Vikings’ JV team also emerged victorious, 9-0.
