Vikings Remain at Eighth in Region Sports Network Top Ten Weekly Rankings

After splitting their weekend set of games with a win against Chesterton, followed by a loss against Bishop Noll, the Valparaiso High School boys basketball team maintained their eighth-place ranking in Region Sports Network's weekly Top Ten of Northwest Indiana's best basketball teams.

8. Valparaiso (12-5, 8-3) Last Week – #8
Valparaiso split a pair of games last week, beating Chesterton by six on Friday before falling to Bishop Noll in a tough, one point loss on Saturday. Despite the split and losing three of their last four games, the Vikings still hang on to the #8 spot in the RSN Top Ten, especially considering that the Noll game could just as easily have been a win for Valparaiso given the controversial events of the games final moments. The schedule doesn’t do the Vikings any favors this week either, with a road trip to RSN #1 Lake Central on tap for Thursday.
