The Valparaiso High School girls’ tennis team sent four of its team members to the 2012 All-Duneland Athletic Conference team, equal only to first-place Chesterton.
The Vikings finished second overall in the conference during the regular season, losing only one contest on the year. Kelly Kennedy was the Vikings’ representative in the #1 Singles category, followed by Caitlin Kennedy in the #2 singles category. The team of Sonja Schaefer and Kate Spencer were nominated for one of the top two #1 Doubles teams in the conference.
