Visit Blackbird Cafe on March 8th for A Day About Women

On March 8, International Women’s Day, women across the world are advocating for women’s rights by participating in A Day Without Women. During Blackbird Cafe’s A Day About Women, view art from local women artists, engage in conversations about women’s issues, take direct action through postcard writing, enjoy performances designed to share women’s experiences and learn how you can take action to help women in your own community!

Throughout the day we will also be accepting donations of bras, tampons and sanitary pads for the local women's shelters. In addition, come and see a collection of auction items generously donated by local women owned businesses. All daytime activies are free of charge

These tickets are for our performances, beginning at 7pm, which includes music, theatrical performances, poetry reading and story telling by and about women. Tickets are limited so don't wait to purchase them. We believe they will go fast. All proceeds from the entire day's events will be donated to Planned Parenthood.
