Want to make a difference in a homeless pet’s life? Volunteer at Lakeshore PAWS’ second annual Run for PAWS 5K Cross Country Invitational/2K Dog Walk on Sunday, June 24, 2012.
Volunteers are needed to help with registration, food, beverages, activities, general info, and clean up, and to direct walkers and runners during the event, which will take place at Sunset Hill Park, 775 Meridian Road, Valparaiso.
The event kicks off at 2:30 p.m., and the race starts at 4 p.m. Volunteers will be needed before the event begins to set up and afterward to clean up.
Volunteers 17 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
