John Kessler, Franciscan Alliance regional vice president of Integration Services, thanks Franciscan St. Anthony Health-Michigan City Auxiliary Guild of Volunteers members for giving of their time and efforts to hospital service. His remarks came during an annual Christmas Guild Luncheon in the St. Francis Hall Dec. 10.
Speaking also on behalf of Dr. James Callaghan, hospital president, who was unable to attend, Kessler said, “A gift is something we remember and an extension of the friendship and love we have for a person. In the name of Dr. Callaghan and the hospital staff, I thank you for the gifts you have been to us and continue to be.”
Shown at the podium is Shirley Sjoberg, guild manager, who later added, “I am truly blessed to work with such a fine group of ladies and gentlemen.”
Volunteers dined and later were treated to sing-a-long entertainment.
