Mild-mannered principal by day...Gene Kelly mimic by night. What? Looks like there is more to VHS principal Reid Amones than meets the eye. Amones will be showing off his dancing skills in a fundraising event called Dancing with the Local Stars at Star Plaza in Merrillville, IN on February 21, 2013 at 7pm.
Dancing with the Local Stars is a fundraising event and this year the charity that will receive the proceeds is the Lake Area United Way. Like the popular TV show that has everyone glued to their television sets, this competition will have amateur dancers compete publicly to raise money for this year's United Way campaign. Amones will be one of the Local Stars competing for the Fred Astaire Ballroom of Valparaiso. He has been practicing for weeks, so come out and support your VHS principal as he cuts a rug for a good cause.
