What is there to do this weekend in Valpo?

We do a quick 5 minute morning show every Friday morning at 7:30am on WVLP here in Valpo, and it is a great reminder for what fun things are going on right now in town, and like most weekends, this one is chock full of options for just about any perspective in town.

If you enjoy music, there are still some tickets available for the Willie Nile/Nicholas Tremulis show on Saturday night at the Memorial House, put on by Imagine Music Concerts.

If you enjoy sports, you have the 2010 VHS Hall of Fame inductees being honored at the high school between the JV and Varsity games vs. Munster.

If you enjoy theatre, The Pillowman opens up Friday night at the Chicago Street Theatre.

If you enjoy worship, there are about 50 churches in Valparaiso to get together with others in the community and share your faith.

If you enjoy art, Eleanor Schreiner has a show of her work entitled "Hidden Charm" on display at the Blackbird Café.

If you enjoy dining, you can always get ideas and share ideas with many on ValpoLife about where to eat this weekend, or check out the Spaghetti Dinner at Immanuel Lutheran.

If you enjoy seeing the community come together, you can join others at the dedication of a Habitat for Humanity duplex on Sunday.

What do you enjoy doing on the weekends?  Contribute your Ideas, Comment on the Articles, Write an Article or a Blog for the site, or send in a Photo.

Whatever it is that you do this last weekend of January, we hope you enjoy it with friends and family.
