Do you instantly know who I'm referring to? Just to our right of that man? The one with the sass, with her hand on her hip. She is an inspiration, she is a smile in a sea of frowns, she is what I strive to imitate!
This photo was taken during the depression in Gary. Everyone is waiting in line at a soup kitchen. I love her positivity! I am a strong believer that the recession, the economic downturn that we have all been hearing about, is a result of just that- the fact we've all been hearing so much about it! Once everyone starts believing things are getting better, turning around, and looking up, they will!
Maybe there's no truth to that at all. It's not based on fact, textbooks, or materials published by self proclaimed experts. It's an observation I have made over time. I have seen how positivity and optimistic outlooks have directly effected the lives of many, and that is why I choose to live optimistically. I wanted to share this photo so others can see as well, that throughout time, deep down inside when things are really bad, we know- they will get better!
