We are true Valparaiso sweethearts. We met in 1995 in Valparaiso when we were both working at Fetla's Trading Post. After our first date on October 6, 1997 at Round the Clock restaurant in Valparaiso, I knew he would be my husband. Craig and I have happily lived in Valparaiso ever since and will celebrate 12 years of marriage this fall.

And that is why I love him.
And most days, he loves me back.
My husband, Joe is not only my sweetheart, he is my soul mate and my best friend. We just celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary on February 3, 2010, though it feels like just yesterday when we met at the Valparaiso Antique Mall (where Buffalo Wild Wings is now). We started our life together off with a shared love: antiques and that common bond has carried us through good times and bad. I love him with all of my heart and look forward to future adventures together.
I met Mark back in 1992 when I worked at Taco Bell when I had time off from college. Our first date was having coffee at what used to be Azar's here in Valpo. He was so nervous he almost spilled hot coffee on me from across the table. We were married in July 1996. Thirteen years later, we have two wonderful kids, an 8-year-old son and a 2-year-old daughter. In all those years, through thick and thin, I wouldn't change a thing! Love you sweetie!
I needed to find a man that could make me laugh, love me passionately, cook, clean, do the laundry, always be my best friend and still have time for all of his philanthropic interests. It sounded impossible but after we had our first real date, I was hooked. Steve and I will celebrate our 10 year anniversary this August 27th. To coin a phrase from Martina McBride: “Everyone calls you amazing, I just call you mine.”
We have been together for 18 years. He is my soul mate. He has taught me soo many things about life. He is a wonderful father to our 2 beautiful daughter, Rachel & Brooke. An excellent provider for his family and always thinks of everyone first, never selfish. This is my Valentine. I love you with all my heart!

Mark and I have been “dating” since I was 16. In fact, he was my first real “date” in high school. This picture is from one of his fraternity dances at Butler where he was a Sigma Chi. Nice suit, eh?
I feel like we are still “dating” – we look forward to special weekends and/or special trips … or weekends where we don’t do anything at all but stay home… With football such a huge part of our lives, the kids have kept us young at heart. It’s hard to believe that we have been married 39 years – that sounds sooooooooooooo long…but it sure doesn’t seem that way at all.

Our paths crossed in 1958 (at 6 years old). I was in the morning kindergarten and he was in the afternoon kindergarten. Our paths crossed back again in 1968 (at 16 years old) and we have been together ever since. I'm pretty sure it was meant to be!!

Josh is my sweetheart always and forever ..... We met at Purdue University in 2003,
and have been together for 6 years, and married for 3 1/2 years. Valentine's Day 2005
was the day he proposed to me, and I don't think another V-Day will ever top that !!!!

Matt and I met at Valparaiso University over 13 years ago, and have been best friends ever since. We were engaged on Christmas of my senior year, and married the summer after I graduated and moved across the country. In our 10 years of marriage, we moved to 3 different states (blessed with a new baby in each one) but felt drawn back to Valpo, where it all began. We moved back here about a year and a half ago and have loved being able to relive the memories of our first dates in college all this time later.
My wife Molly and I have been married for over 5 years. We didn't meet in Valpo, and didn't always live or work in Valpo, but it has played a big part in our lives. Molly grew up here, I proposed up at the lakeshore after dinner at Pass Times in Valpo, our wedding was in Valpo, rehearsal dinner at Gelsosomos Pizza in Valpo, Reception at Aberdeen Manor in Valpo, and both of our kids were born here.
She's a terrific mother, wife, and best friend.

Dominic and I have been together since the 90's, we were married October 19, 1996. The best 14 years of my life have been spent with him.
