Amazing Gingerbread Villages at Four Winds New Buffalo and Four Winds South Bend
Nothing spreads holiday cheer like Four Winds’ amazing Gingerbread Villages! The Gingerbread Village at Four Winds New Buffalo was unveiled on Thursday, December 1 and the Gingerbread Village at Four Winds South Bend will be unveiled on Friday, December 9! Each Village was inspired by Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch and were completed through the collaborative effort of Four Winds’ Culinary and Facilities departments. Planning for the displays started in July and production began in mid-September. A partial list of ingredients split between the two Villages includes:
- 900 pounds gingerbread
- 400 pounds royal icing
- 60 pounds of Fondant
- 50 pounds of chocolate
- And an assortment of candies featuring Candy Canes, Mints, Jellies, Twizzlers, and M&M’s.
