“Me personally I’m trying to build upon what I did in discus. I was really glad with my throws today. I didn’t PR, however. I was about 7 feet off. I was consistent and had a good day throwing discus. So I know when I build upon it, it’s going to go farther than I even expect. I’m trying to build upon discus and then as far as our other teammates, we had Ryan Gray, he came out and threw a 15 foot PR so that was pretty incredible. He had his PR about 136 and then today, he threw 149 which was really awesome to see…I threw 55 at state last year and then today I came out and threw 48 which for me isn’t where I want to be but I’m grateful to have a week where I can tune it up…Even though track and field is an individual sport, you compete against yourself and it’s really cool to see everyone’s events add up with the greater score which looks like as a team, we did very good tonight.” (Owen Edlen- Chesterton HS)
