Mark Your Calendars for the 2012 FAWN Style Show

Preparations for the September 6th Fawn Style Show are in full swing at both Housing Opportunities, Inc. and Friends Assisting Women in Need, Inc. (FAWN). The Fashion Show, Dinner, and Silent Auction will be held at Avalon Manor on September 6, 2012, at 5:30 pm. The charitable recipient of this event will be Housing Opportunities, Inc. FAWN is a 501(C)3 organization that specializes in positively changing women's lives as well as the lives of their families. This event holds great opportunities for both organizations as they aim to improve the lives of clients, especially the female head of household families.

The Style Show will feature apparel from local businesses. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, donating a silent auction item, or purchasing tickets, please contact Housing Opportunities.

Last year's style show raised over $35,000 for Housing Opportunities. FAWN has contributed over $128,500 to Housing Opportunities over the past four years. These funds have allowed Housing Opportunities to be awarded over $1.3 million in federal and state grants benefiting the homeless.

Friends Assisting Women in Need was incorporated in 2007, providing charitable services for women in need. According to Carol Loesche, President of FAWN, "It's truly amazing that a small group of women can have this large of an impact on other women's lives. We are truly grateful to the NWIN community for their support of our event."
