Adopt a Fur Baby from Northwest Indiana’s Shelters!

By: Anna Ortiz Last Updated: February 19, 2018

In February, the month of amore, there’s no better time to add unconditional love, cuddles and kisses into your life! We aren’t talking about sparking up a romance, but adopting a four-legged companion from one of the many adoption shelters in Northwest Indiana!

The reasons to welcome a pet into your home are endless. A relaxing moment of cuddling a friendly feline can lower stress levels, even reportedly helping lower blood pressure and anxiety. A couple of hours playing outside with a pup can give you the boost of activity you need, and put a smile on your face. All you need to do is welcome them into your family!
