Get involved with Meals on Wheels

Do you want to make a difference in someone’s life? And, maybe your own too? Volunteering for Meals on Wheels can be a most rewarding experience. If you have an hour and a half available during the middle of the day you can deliver meals to our clients who reside in your community. Your knock on the door and smile on your face has the power to change someone else’s day. It could change yours too. If you would like to help your neighbors and those in need, why not help us deliver meals? We are having training/orientation on Tuesday, Sept. 10, at 10:00 am and again on Thursday, Sept. 19, at 1:00 pm in our offices at 8446 Virginia Street, Merrillville. Training lasts a little more than an hour and ends with a tour of our building.
