2nd annual Fly-in/Drive-in

Save the date for the second annual Fly-in/Drive-in at Sojourner Field! This all day event will feature vintage and classic aircraft as well as classic car and hotrod. Starting at 6:30 a.m. until 8 a.m. there will be ultra-light flying and paragliders . Beginning at 8 a.m., the field will be open to general aviation arrivals. Breakfast will be served from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. with lunch following from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., both on a donation basis.

The Fly-in/Drive-in will also feature a Charity Hog Roast, which is a new addition to this annual event. The hog roast will benefit the Every Child Ministries Next Step Program with 100% of each ticket going to the program. The hog roast will run from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m., and tickets will include roasted pork, a baked potato, salads, desserts and beverages. Tickets for the hog roast can be pre-purchased for $30 or day of ticket can be purchased for $35. Corporate and group tickets packages are also available for the Charity Hog Roast. The day will conclude with paragliders and ultra-light flying from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m.
