Earth and Arbor Day Color Contest

It’s contest time!!!! 

This month celebrates Earth Day and Arbor Day. Here’s a fun activity for your children to participate in and show their creative side while appreciating Earth and Arbor Day.

Choose an Earth or Arbor Day coloring page below and have fun decorating it!

Contest #2:

Freehand draw and color your best tree!

Instructions:

When finished, have your parents take a picture of your artwork and post it in the comment section of this event page. Be sure you include your grade level on the entry and ONLY your FIRST name.

Entries must be posted no later than Monday, April 19, 2021.

Here are the categories and prizes awarded for each category:

Contest #1 Coloring Page

One student winner will be selected from each category and awarded a $25.00 Amazon gift card.

• Kindergarten: 1 winner selected
• 1st-3rd grade-1 winner selected
• 4th-6th grade-1 winner selected
• 7th-12th grade-1 winner selected

Contest #2 Freehand Tree Drawing

All grade-levels can enter and 3 winners will be selected.

• 1st Place-$50 Amazon Gift Card
• 2nd Place-$30 Amazon Gift Card
• 3rd Place-$20 Amazon Gift Card

Entries will be judged by an independent group of individuals. Students can enter both the coloring contest and the freehand contest. You do not have to be a member-consumer of Kankakee Valley REMC to participate.Winners will be announced on Facebook on Earth Day, April 22, so check back to see if you’re a winner.
