A Gripping Thriller
The Pillowman
By Martin McDonagh

Jan 29 - Feb 13, 2010
Directed by Jonni Pera & Traci Brant

What is the true nature of story-telling and where lies the line between fact and fiction? This is an unsettling and exhilarating black comedy.

With echoes of Stoppard, Kafka, and the Brothers Grimm, THE PILLOWMAN centers on a writer in an unnamed totalitarian state who is being interrogated about the gruesome content of his short stories and their similarities to a series of child murders. The result is an urgent work of theatrical bravura and an unflinching examination of the very nature and purpose of art.

Join us for an opening night gala on Friday, January 29, 2010 hosted at Pikk’s. Following the performance, you are invited to join the cast and crew at 62 W. Lincolnway, Valparaiso, IN. 219-476-7455.

Please be advised. Not for young or sensitive viewers. Adult content including mature subject matter, language, and violence.
