Easter Ham Sale to Benefit Discoveries Unlimited STEM Mentor Program

Discoveries Unlimited is currently holding its Easter Ham Sale now through March 26, 2010. All proceeds from the ham sale directly support the organization’s STEM Mentor program.

The Discoveries Unlimited STEM Mentor program is a one-on one mentoring program, creating teams between female middle school students and industry professionals from Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) fields. Through a variety of activities and experiences, young women are introduced to and supported in a multitude of career and educational possibilities in STEM.

The Easter hams are specialty bone-in and spiral-sliced, weighing an average of 8 pounds. Hams are $35.00 each and can be ordered on-line at www.discoveriesunlimited.org. Orders and payment due by March 26, 2010. Hams are available for pick up on April 1, 2010 between 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Simply Amazing Market, 2801 Evans, Valparaiso, IN, (behind Opportunity Enterprises).
