RDA Invites Convention Center Site Submissions

Johnson Consulting and the Winston/Terrell Group, on behalf of the Northwest Indiana Regional Development Authority, is in the process of updating the Feasibility Analysis of a Potential Convention Center in Lake County, Indiana study published by Convention, Sports, & Leisure (CSL) in 2018.

The 2018 study considered nine potential sites:

These sites will be considered again as part of the updated study. Additionally, this study update will be considering other sites which were not analyzed in the 2018 CSL Study. As such, this Call for Potential Convention Sites is asking landowners in Lake County if they own any sites that they would like to be considered as part of this project. Sites must fulfill the following conditions to be considered:

• Completely located within Lake County, IN
• At least 10 acres of contiguous land
• Owner(s) of land must be identified

Additional sites for consideration can be submitted until January 30, 2024.
