Porter County Community Foundation Awards $105,000 to Community Organizations

18 Nonprofits Benefit from the Generosity of Community Members

 The Porter County Community Foundation (PCCF) awarded $105,367 in grants to 18 local nonprofit organizations as part of its final Community Fund grant cycle of 2024.

The following organizations and programs are receiving funding:

PCCF aims to improve lives in Porter County by providing funds through an open grant-making process for youth programs, health and human services, animal welfare, arts and culture, education and the environment.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana Duneland Club received a spring 2024 Community Fund Grant to enhance STEM programming through the purchase of new equipment.

Through the support of generous community members, PCCF annually awards approximately $350,000 to local nonprofits through its bi-annual competitive Community Fund grants program. The next Community Fund grant cycle will open in January with an application deadline of February 15, 2025. More information is available online at PCCF.gives.

PCCF presented the Northwest Indiana Paddling Association with a spring 2024 Community Fund Grant to upgrade their fleet of kayaks and canoes for training and event participants who do not have their own boats.
