In celebration of National Library Week, April 13-19, 2014 Valparaiso, Kouts, and Hebron Public Libraries will join Culver's of Valparaiso by having a drawing contest for kids 4 to 11 years old.
Every child who completes a drawing will receive a token good for a FREE scoop of frozen custard and will be entered into a drawing to win a Scoopie Kid's Meal. The drawing contest encourages children to read and celebrate their favorite book characters. Children can enter the contest by picking up drawing sheets from the Children's Department of your local library branch during that week.
The pictures will be on display at the restaurant through the month of April.
First sponsored in 1958, National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association, state library associations, and libraries across the country each April.
