Growing Smiles Pediatric Dentistry is already making the young and the young at heart smile from ear to ear, but why not add another thing to the long list of why Dr. Carisse Corns and her team are great? Let’s add: the fact that everyone is greeted by Pat Contreras.
Pat is a sweet lady with a warm smile that she will share with anyone. She came to Growing Smiles in January of 2015 and brought with her over 24 years of customer service experience, so she loves working with people – especially the wee kind.
“I love kids,” Pat said. “I love how they react to things and the things that they say. Kids are so innocent and lovable.”
Pat said that kids will come in and tell her jokes, show off their toy to her, and say all sorts of funny things. One memory that really sticks out to her about the cute things kids do is one thing a suave seven-year-old boy said when he came in for an appointment and he was all dressed up. “I told him that I liked his tie and that he looked very handsome,” Pat said. “He smiled and said, ‘The girls love it.’”
Ever wonder what Pat does behind that desk on a daily basis? She greets clients as they enter and leave the building, always making sure that the first and last thing a child sees when he or she enters is a beautiful smile. She also helps with scheduling appointments, answering the phone, and making sure that all of the clients are happy.
Working with Dr. Corns and the rest of the staff at Growing Smiles really brings light into Pat’s already bright day.
“Dr. Corns is a blessing. She’s an awesome person and an excellent pediatric dentist,” Pat said. “She has a great personality and treats everyone she meets very well. All of the kids love her and the parents are aww-struck about how well the team works together.”
Pat currently resides in Winfield with her husband. The couple spends as much time on the water that they can. They paddleboat, fish, travel all over the place, and spoil their grandchildren.
