The holiday season is commonly known to be the perfect time to give back. It actively reminds us of the importance of helping those in need. The team at Oak Partners, Inc. experienced a rewarding feeling during the month of December as they executed incredible work for the children of our community.
Starting in November, Oak Partners invited their supporters to collect and donate gifts for their toy drive sponsoring the children at St. Joseph's Carmelite Home. Interested community members were able to call the Oak Partners office and receive the name of the child that they were to buy gifts for. They also received some information about the gift that he or she wanted. This was the perfect way for people to not only show support for these children, but also allow their gift-giving to be that much more personal as each child’s Christmas wish was granted.
It was rewarding to see such a great turn out for their toy drive, as countless community members gathered gifts for so many children.
Throughout the month of December, people stopped into the Oak Partners Crown Point Office to drop off their gifts. It is safe to say that the team at Oak Partners was grateful to see such a successful ending to their toy drive.
Giving back can be done in a variety of ways, but it is truly inspiring to see how the entire team at Oak Partners joined together to give the children at St. Joseph’s Carmelite Home the Christmas that all children deserve to have.
