Preschool Bricks 4 Kidz / Young Rembrandts
Ages 3 - 5 | Mondays, January 4 - February 1
Discovery Cottage is combining two great classes for your little one to enjoy! Bricks 4 Kidz & Young Rembrandts come together to trigger your child's lively imagination, building their self-confidence through both collaborative and independent play. It is fun, encouraging and will maximize development, to better prepare them as learners!
Young Rembrandts Drawing Class
Ages 5 - 12 | Tuesdays, January 5 - February 9
This elementary-age curriculum is designed to teach basic to advanced drawing skills, art techniques and vocabulary. Students are given the skills to express their creativity, as well as build self-confidence and self-esteem.
Bricks 4 Kidz LEGO Class
Ages 5 - 12 | Thursdays, January 7 - February 11
Our one hour classes explore architecture, engineering and technology concepts using LEGO Bricks. Students work hands-on to design and build machines, buildings and other constructions. Students develop problem solving and critical thinking skills. Fun while learning!
Learn to Play Guitar or Ukulele via Zoom
Ages 7 - 13 and 14+ | Thursdays, January 7 - January 28
Now is the perfect time for your child to learn how to play the guitar or ukulele at home! This 4 week online workshop covers tuning, beginner chords, strumming and more! No experience necessary. Students will have fun learning to play familiar songs - starting with the first lesson.
Online Acting Class via Zoom
Ages 5 - 8 and 9 - 13 | Fridays, January 8 - January 29
This acting class is fun and educational! Students will learn through stories, games, props and fun activities as they develop their acting skills. Class will focus on developing confidence and speaking skills through theater games and plays. Students learn teamwork and creativity by designing and performing their own plays.

Men's Futsal League
Ages 18 and up | Sundays in January - March
Played in teams of 5 plus the goalkeeper, this fast-paced, indoor, small-sided soccer game will keep your footwork sharp during the winter months. The 8 week session includes 7 games and a single elimination tourney. Call the Valpo Parks office to register your team!
Adult Learn to Play Hockey
Ages 15 and up | Sundays, January 10 - March 7
This NEW program is designed for the beginner hockey player or for someone who just wants to knock the rust off their game and have a good time. Just $20.00 per session, pre-registration required, no drop-ins are permitted.
