The Valparaiso University Department of Athletics, in conjunction with the Missouri Valley Conference, has announced a multi-year partnership with the industry-leading content and compliance software company INFLCR.
The agreement will provide Valpo and other MVC institutions with the tools and technology necessary to support their student-athletes’ opportunities related to name, image and likeness (NIL).
“The recent changes in Name, Imagine and Likeness are an important step forward for our student-athletes, our athletics department and intercollegiate athletics as a whole,” Valpo Director of Athletics Mark LaBarbera said. “We’re very pleased to be partnering with the Missouri Valley Conference and INFLCR, which has established itself as the industry leader in this important area in a short period of time. This partnership will provide our department with quality resources to educate our student-athletes on establishing individual brands and better tell the story of the Valpo experience to a broader audience. As part of our implementation of a Name, Imagine and Likeness platform on campus, we’re excited to be working with the College of Business and the Communication and Visual Arts Department to provide additional educational resources for our student-athletes.”
