The Valpo Noon Kiwanis volunteers overcame cold and snow this week to install a very challenging wheelchair ramp for a young 19-year old woman, who became paralyzed after a tragic accident.
For over eighty years, The Kiwanis Club of Valparaiso has been giving back to the community that has provided such a rewarding lifestyle for its members by supporting worthwhile charities, social services, and civic projects Helping families and individuals like Carissa Little. The Kiwanis Wheelchair Ramp Team paired up with Mr. Lou Leone to completely formulated, design and construct the new entry way
Thanks to The Kiwanis Wheelchair Ramp Team, Mr. Lou Leone, and the donations that made all this possible the team was able to install not only a wheelchair ramp for Little but also installed extended the front of the house to fit the wheelchair, and two chair lifts.
