The Valpo Parks Department is excited to announce the season opening of Forest Park Golf Course, this Friday, March 15, 2024.
Valpo Parks Operations Director, Tristan Leonhard, says “the staff is eager to swing into a brand-new season at Forest Park! They have been busy making improvements to the overall golfing experience from beginning to end, from the website to the last putt on Hole 18.”
Golfers will see a new loyalty program that will allow them to receive cash back to use towards future purchases. New cart paths were created that will aid in keeping areas of the course in better condition throughout the year. Additionally, ten new golf carts were added to the fleet, for a total of 54 golf carts.
Beth Bowker, Golf Business Operations Manager, invites golfers to stop by the Clubhouse after a round to enjoy grab-n-go sandwiches, specialty desserts, cold beer on tap and much more.
There is a “hole lotta fun” to be had at Forest Park Golf Course this season!
