We've teamed up with Valparaiso University Men’s Basketball Coach, Roger Powell Jr., to provide mentoring to our Club kids.
Coach Powell, through his organization, The Rev Foundation, will be engaging in three sessions at the Hammond, Portage and Gary Clubs that will include inspirational mentoring about perseverance, self-confidence and positive thinking.
The partnership will continue at the Portage and Gary Clubs later this fall. The program will culminate with 100 members and staff visiting the Valparaiso University campus for a college tour and basketball game.
